KLAMATH Mixed Steel! March 4th, 2018
Winter is coming! Well……. More like it is about to leave. We have arrived at the last mixed steel of the winter.
I am bringing back the combo stage!
I will have added the "Klein Restriction" whereas-wherein the owner/s of 5 shotguns shall not have
all 5 shotguns and/or may not be used by a single shooter on a single stage.
(This is why we can’t have nice things WALLY/JEFF clause).
Good news! We won’t have spinner. We’ll have 3 regular stages and a Glorious!! MEGA stage that is
the combination of all previous stages combined into a giant combination stage!
This is a huge match/stage to finish the year out. If you don’t think that you will have enough gear to finish the stage
you can bring an ammo bearer or designated shooter to help you finish. If you can, have a 2nd shotgun staged on the Mega stage, or
if you have 2 or can borrow one from a friend. (Or a stranger if you think your friend might sabotage you.)
NO! Unless you bribe me! Then I can put you in a different division.
For anyone who has not tried mixed steel, this as a kind of practice match for 3-gun usually using shotgun and handguns.
The format is very open ended and most stages can be shot the way you want to and what will give you the most practice.
Just show up with what you have (Centerfire pistol/shotgun, Rimfire rifle/pistol, PCC, Slingshot/blow gun,
But NO CENTERFIRE RIFLE, Everything else or combination of the two we can make it work) and
we have the ability and divisions to let you shoot.
Stage 1- Pistol 0-14 Shotgun 0-14
Stage 2- Pistol 0-20 Shotgun 0-20
Stage 3- Pistol 0-11 Shotgun 0-22
Stage 4- Pistol 0-35 Shotgun 0-35
Total – Pistol 0-91 Shotgun 0-80
The round counts are inverse, If you are going to use the high end of one then expect the low end of the other.
Most people shouldn’t need more than 100 rounds of pistol and 50 of shotgun…. Some aiming maybe required.
Held at the Keno Sports Park
Setup at 8:00am
Sign-up at 9:00am
Shooting Starts at 9:30ish
Match Fee $10
