Thursday Advanced Pistol Practice Update

Hello IDPA shooters!

We haven’t been having our Thursday night pistol practices, due to fire danger and heavy smoke…

We will meet at the outdoor range on Kershaw at 5:30 every Thursday, and

send out an email when we move to the indoor range in the fall.

Can’t wait to get some practice in…see you all out there!

ROSSI—–Firearm Recall

Important news: If you own a revolver chambered in .38 Special and/or .357 Magnum manufactured by Rossi between the years 2005 and 2017, you should know that the company has issued a voluntary safety warning on these models. Rossi has learned that some .38 Special and .357 Magnum revolvers made during that time frame may have a condition that could cause, under certain circumstances, the revolver to fire if dropped.

This safety warning covers .38 Special and .357 Magnum revolver models R351, R352, R461, R462, R851, R971 and R972 with serial numbers beginning with the letter Y, Z, or A through K.

Rossi is developing inspection and repair solutions, and the company wishes to assure customers that they will make every effort possible to ensure Rossi Revolvers will be inspected, serviced if necessary, and returned to you in a prompt, timely fashion.

If you have an affected revolver, Rossi asks that you please:

  1. Stop using your revolver immediately.
  2. Go to WWW.ROSSISAFETYNOTICE.COM where you can enter your serial number and read their instructions. Or call 855-982-8787 for assistance.
  3. If you no longer have this revolver, please inform current owner of this notice.
